Job Description

As an Account Executive Correspondent with CU Members Mortgage, you will conduct training for new and existing Correspondent Lending business channel Credit Unions, as well as maintain resources and communication channels to support Credit Unions in efficiently funding correspondent loans with CU Members Mortgage.

Requirements include:

  • Conduct training for new and existing Correspondent Lending Credit Unions
  • Communicate management expectations with credit union mortgage staff regarding time frame and file requirements
  • Manage credit unions through completion of lending process, including supervising, instructing, training and ongoing communication with credit union mortgage staff
  • Assist credit union lending staff to problem solve and troubleshoot files that are not moving through the system as expected
  • Assist Executive Sales Consultants with regularly scheduled regional conference calls with their assigned credit unions
  • Assist credit union mortgage staff with internet and technology resources
  • Be involved with credit union mortgage staff where needed in the pre-closing, closing, and funding stage
  • Manage annual re-certification of Credit Unions
  • Update rates in the system on a daily basis
  • Maintain the Lock Desk and help Credit Unions with rate questions
  • Reaffirm expectations with Credit Union Mortgage Staff regarding time frame and file requirements that were set by the Regional Sales Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of mortgage banking experience including sales and business development
  • Credit Union experience is highly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with and thorough knowledge of secondary market guidelines
  • Knowledge of mortgage b2b systems, FNMA DU, FHLMC Prospector, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to train credit union employees
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Explorer)
  • Advanced interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Advanced organization and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain high levels of performance, motivation and personal integrity aligned with corporate values
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
  • Successful NMLS registration is required
